Hello everyone. Thanks so much for stopping by my page. Grab a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea if you prefer and relax. I hope that you find something on my page that piques your interest. If not, that’s perfectly fine too. On my page you will fine reviews of books I’ve devoured. I just wish I knew how to make a page years ago. I would probably have hundreds of reviews posted by now.
So, my goal is to share with everyone my thoughts and feelings about books I read. Good or bad they will be posted here. I’m still getting into the hang of updating and posting regularly, so a lot of my posts come in within a few hours of each other. Quite honestly, I’m not really a social person but I love books. I love reviewing books so I created Rustic Book Travels.
A little bit about me: I was born and raised in South Carolina, yeah I’m a Carolina girl 🙂 I used to live out in the middle of nowhere (literally) my town has 2 paved roads now, the main road that runs through and the dirt road that I grew up on which recently got paved… I now live in Georgia. SUCH a big difference, city life is loud, busy and stinky lol.. I’m happily married. I’ve got an extremely big heart when it comes to animals. Its my dream to one day have a giant dog sanctuary and be able to have over 100 dogs just roaming around, being happy and care free. (hey a girl can dream cant she?) I’m a big ol’ kid at heart but I swear the older I get the more its turning into a grumpy old lady that swears a lot 😉 I spend most of my day-dreaming about books and ranting to my husband about the shenanigans going on in my book. (don’t judge me) I have a 1 1/2 year old German Shepard-Lab mix and she is my baby. Last year our Siberian Husky-Wolf Mix passed very unexpectedly and we’re both still coping with that. He had about 33% wolf in him and he was GORGEOUS. The more I think about it, I think that’s what lead me back to blogging. I read to him all the time, it was something we’d sit in one spot all day and do. So I guess this is my way of still connecting like that again. [I’m sorry that got depressing] I just miss my sweet boy is all. Thanks again for visiting my page. ❤ it means the world to me. Oh, by the way, my name is Jeannie.. have a great day yall 🙂
